Release Notes

Version Info

Minor version update containing:
- EXPERIMENTAL AMF3 single-object support (without AMF-Message around)
- Included own build of FluorineFx core as of additional deserializing and better error handling
- Included log4net output in the message-window to display FluorineFx warning and error messages

Installation instruction

Take the .msi to directly install the inspector into the %user%\documents\fiddler2\inspectors directory or manually install it using the _InspectorLibs.zip package.

.msi installation

Prior installing the .msi, you should uninstall it by right-clicking the new .msi and select 'Uninstall'.

Manual installation

If you decide to install the inspector addon manually, just get the _inspectorLibs.zip package and extract the content directly into the inspectors folder either in your users document / fiddler2 folder or in the fiddler installation folder. If the directory 'inspectors' does not exist, just create it manually and you should be good.

After the installation, fiddler should be restarted to correctly load the extension.

Reviews for this release

This release exists because I emailed Stops a few days ago looking for help getting the parser to handle my data. it turns out that because we weren't wrapping our data in AMF message headers (and various other things), it was a tougher proposition than I thought. But Stops has been working his butt off, researching, trying new things out, throwing me stuff to test, and just generally making this work for me. I'm pleased to say that I can now see my AMF in Fiddler thanks to his hard work and responsiveness. Thanks, Stops!
